Welcome!
Each path, or teaching, within this Art is special, each of which complements the others in the creation of a whole and complete cycle of movement and meditation. Thus the school offers several specialized courses; the student can begin with one or several of the basic courses, advancing and complementing her or his studies with other standard and special course offerings. Therefore, every course offers special techniques and forms of its own.
The First Art | The Second Art | The Third Art | The Fourth Art | The Fifth Art
THE FIRST ART:
Seamm-Jasani: The Art of Active Relaxation
This Art consists of slow and fluid movements, designed to improve coordination and to build an equilibrium between body and mind through various techniques of breathing and movement. This Art has been described as "The Art of Eternal Youth", as its practice increases health, mental vitality, and longevity, as well as helping to combat depression.
Gentle Boabom is characterized by its combination of relaxation with active movements and breathing forms (Pranayama) in a system that has a rapid and positive impact on the general health of the student, and which over longer periods results in an overall revitalization of body and mind.
Some aspects of the Art are:
- Techniques for both physical movements and of breathing
- Stretching for all zones of the body
- Self-massage
- Methods to improve the eyesight
- The ability to strengthen the cervical, dorsal, and lumbar regions.
- Basic muscle lengthening
- Exercises to improve hand strength
- Both stepping to improve balance and whole body movement, including the fingers, to improve coordination
- Relaxation and meditation in both passivity and movement
If you are interested in Gentle Boabom, the book "The Secret Art of Seamm - Jasani: 58 Movements for Eternal Youth" is available as an introduction to these teachings.
An excerpt from the book "The Secret Art of Seamm - Jasani":
"The importance of breathing is obvious to us all. This technique attempts to enrich something that we normally do without putting any thought into it. What our Art teaches is that the body is in constant combustion, that the mind is a great bonfire. Giving more oxygen to the mind increases that combustion, and the breathing technique helps us with this. First, it increases lung capacity, which allows more oxygen into the lungs and thus into the blood, the rest of the body, and especially into the brain. With more oxygen the internal flame grows and the mind relaxes, becomes comfortable, positive, and open to any work or effort, be it mental or corporeal. At the same time, this breathing technique helps to cleanse all of the passageways in your body, cleaning the nasal passages and the throat as it also helps you, in a natural and indirect way, to quit smoking. You will feel, in just a few weeks of regular practice, that you do not need to smoke as much as you used to. Your cravings will reduce more and more until this habit disappears, without anxiety or problems."Back to top THE SECOND ART
Osseous Boabom: The Art of Self Defense
This is the most complex area within the Mmulargan School. It can be described as "the Art of Self-Medicine through Self-Defense". Within this course you will study and practice movements that develop fast reactions, agility, self-control, balance, speed, precise reflexes, spontaneity, breathing (as a method to control your body and mind), concentration, and the projection of internal energies. You will study a precise and extraordinary form of defense that is realized and perfected through an improvised dance, and at the same time is an awakening of self-security through an internal force: the vortex of internal magnetic fields (Mahaprana).
The movements are taught progressively, as part of a chain in which each new movement is linked to the previous, forming an infinite continuum of thousands of techniques: circular, straight, retracting, rising, etc.
Classes make the student sweat, but without excessively tiring her or him through the repetition of a single technique. Instead, the student becomes enthusiastic about the movements, excitedly progressing from one to the next. In each class the student learns new movements, producing a curiosity and desire to continue and progress. Because learning and enjoyment are the fundamentals of the teaching at Mmulargan, because there is no contact between the students, and because its ultimate goal is to balance the mind and body of the student, this Art is totally different from any other method of self-defense that you might find. (It is so different that it is often called "the Art of No-Defense").
Because of the immense number of movements contained in Osseous Boabom, it is taught in three cycles:
- Physical and technical movement
- Spontaneity
- Emanation (or magnetism), what makes this Art truly unique. It has been said, with reason, that, even though not as widely known, this Art is the most ancient and most effective form of self-defense and self-medicine on the Earth.
Within the Mmulargan, Osseous Boabom is the most highly developed teaching, serving as the most practical and effective method by which the student can rid her or himself of disease, depression, and negativity, for it is direct and precise. In its basics, it covers many of the aspects of Seamm-Jasani and adds:
- Strikes to all regions of the opponent's body
- Defense for all regions of the student's body
- Simple, practical applications
- Forms of non-violent defense through the reflection and projection of the opponent's energy
- Forms for the projection of mental energy, and the open and free application of the movements.
This creates a unique and spontaneous dance that is studied in pairs, singly, and in multiples: the legendary art of Boabom.

Yaan Bao: Boabom with Implements
In this course, the student learns movements using various implements, such as short staffs, long ones, etc. Through this Art the student (who has already advanced somewhat in Osseous Boabom) studies the perfection of movement, solidity, and security in both technique and themselves, developing a new set of skills while using these implements as an extension of their own body. Successively, these elements change, both in shape and in length.
Each implement is studied in stages, and each requires at least two years of study before progressing to a new stage. The basic technical areas of Boabom with implements, or Yaan Bao, is as follows:
8 basic stages, beginning with "the Art of the Toba", that covers
- Varied techniques using the hands, mid-zone, and legs
- Basic Applications and uses of the Implements
- Forms of non-violent defense through the reflection and projection of opposing energy, using the implements.
- Open and free application of the movements with implements (in various forms: classical, single, open, normal, and multiple).

The Path of Pedagogy
![]()
This course is dedicated to the "Pedagogy of Teaching the Art". It prepares the most distinguished, experienced, and responsible students to be Assistants and, with time, the future teachers of the different Arts of Boabom. In the basic stages, it covers and teaches responsibility, patterns and vocabulary, breathing techniques, theory and practice of the movements, and basic medical pedagogy.

THE FIFTH ART
The Path of Meditation
The study of what we can translate as "the Road of self-knowledge through Meditation".
This course of study is dedicated to the development and balancing of the mind in its internal and external aspect, in its projection, energy, balance, strength, and forms, all with the goal of establishing a "middle" or balanced state.
For those interested in the Path of Meditation, the book "BAMSO: the Art of Dreams" (English translation forthcoming), gives an introduction to consciousness and to astral travels ("unmani"), the projection of consciousness into dreams, as another tool towards consciousness of oneself and the world that surrounds us.
With Regards to the Disciplines of Mind:
(from the book "BAMSO: The Art of Dreams")
"Finally, the third discipline of the mind is constancy; meditate on this. Constancy has given shape to the whole universe, from the smallest atom to the largest star. Constancy has given shape to every form of life that you know, including your own. If you wish to trespass the frontiers of dreams you will have to know this last discipline..."
